Job Description
Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for music and a knack for viral content? Spotify is seeking a talented Music App Content Creator with a primary focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing engaging short-form video strategies that highlight our vast music library and connect with diverse audiences. You will identify emerging trends, craft compelling narratives around artists and songs, and produce high-quality video content that drives engagement, awareness, and user acquisition for the Spotify app. This is a unique opportunity to blend your love for music with your expertise in social media to make a significant impact on a global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative content strategies specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote Spotify's music and artists.
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging short-form video content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Stay continuously updated on the latest TikTok and Reels trends, challenges, and best practices, adapting content strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, artist relations, and product teams to integrate content into broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and growth.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring a consistent and timely publishing schedule.
- Experiment with new content formats, features, and storytelling techniques to keep Spotify's presence fresh and dynamic.
- Engage with the community, respond to comments, and foster conversations around shared content.
Required Skills
- Proven experience creating viral or highly engaging short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush) on mobile and/or desktop platforms.
- Deep understanding of the TikTok and Instagram Reels algorithms, trends, and user behaviors.
- Strong creative vision, storytelling abilities, and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Excellent knowledge of current music genres, artists, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
