Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate graduate student for a paid Summer Music Internship program. This program is designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in various facets of the music and entertainment industry. You will contribute to real-world projects, work alongside industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into artist management, event production, marketing, data analytics, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with research and analysis on music industry trends, artist performance, and market opportunities.
- Support project managers and teams in the planning and execution of various music-related initiatives and events.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and content for artist campaigns or promotional activities.
- Participate in data collection and preliminary analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Shadow professionals in different departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of live entertainment operations.
- Provide administrative support to various teams as needed, including scheduling, correspondence, and report preparation.
- Collaborate with fellow interns and mentors on assigned group projects or presentations.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master's or Ph.D.) in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for the music and live entertainment industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience in the entertainment, media, or related industries.
- Familiarity with project management tools or CRM software.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
