Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Global Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fully remote position, focusing on the accurate and timely processing of multi-country payrolls within the finance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international payroll regulations, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to ensuring compliance and accuracy in all payroll operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting our global workforce, ensuring seamless payroll delivery and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Verify and input payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international tax laws, social security regulations, and employment legislation.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure integrated and efficient processes.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external audits.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global payroll best practices and regulatory changes.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in global or multi-country payroll processing.
- Proficiency with major payroll software platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP).
- Strong understanding of international tax laws and payroll compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a remote team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a large, multinational financial institution.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems integration with payroll.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving regulatory environments.
