Job Description

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about customer service? BestMark is seeking enthusiastic Mystery Shoppers to evaluate the quality of service in various businesses within Madison, Wisconsin. This entry-level position offers competitive local pay, flexible hours, and requires no degree or prior experience. As a Mystery Shopper, you’ll visit assigned locations, interact with staff as a regular customer, and then provide objective feedback on your experience through our online reporting system. Your observations will help businesses understand their strengths and areas for improvement, directly impacting customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assigned mystery shopping visits to various retail stores, restaurants, and service providers as a regular customer.
  • Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including cleanliness, staff friendliness, product knowledge, and efficiency.
  • Accurately document visit details, observations, and interactions using our online reporting platform within 24 hours of the visit.
  • Adhere to all project guidelines, deadlines, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information and project details.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers regarding visit logistics or issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • Reliable access to a computer with internet connectivity.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and adhere to guidelines.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and objectivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with mystery shopping or customer service (not required, but a plus).
  • Flexible schedule and availability to complete assignments during various business hours.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
