Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and specific scenarios provided by the development team.
  • Actively play through game content, identifying bugs, glitches, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear, concise, and constructive written and verbal feedback on gameplay mechanics, graphics, audio, and overall user experience.
  • Document bugs and issues in a bug tracking system with detailed steps to reproduce.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and development teams to ensure identified issues are understood and resolved.
  • Participate in team discussions and provide insights on player experience.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased game content.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience playing video games, especially racing titles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate feedback clearly.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and execute test cases.
  • Proficiency with common gaming platforms (PC/Console).
  • Availability to work evening shifts as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous beta testing or quality assurance experience.
  • Familiarity with the Need for Speed franchise.
  • Experience using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • A passion for cars, racing culture, and competitive gaming.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
