Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious Oil Field Drivers to join our dynamic team in the West Covina area. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of various materials, equipment, and potentially hazardous substances to and from oilfield sites. Due to the nature of the work, this position includes high hazard pay and operates on a structured rotation schedule, ensuring work-life balance while meeting operational demands. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to operate heavy vehicles in challenging environments. This is a critical role supporting our field operations and requires dedication, professionalism, and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy-duty trucks and specialized vehicles to transport oilfield equipment, materials, and products (e.g., crude oil, water, chemicals) safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company safety policies, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
  • Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and other required documentation for all transported materials.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field personnel.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any major mechanical issues promptly.
  • Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational schedule.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in accordance with established safety procedures.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles, preferably in an oilfield or industrial setting.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Thorough knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and hazardous material handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged sitting.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific oilfield equipment transportation (e.g., frac tanks, pipe, rig components).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Familiarity with local oilfield locations and routes in Southern California.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
