Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Plum Picking Crew member for the upcoming harvest season. This immediate opening offers seasonal work in the beautiful orchards near Coventry. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to assist with the crucial task of hand-picking plums. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. This role is physically demanding but incredibly rewarding, offering an opportunity to work outdoors and contribute directly to the food supply chain. We value teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully hand-pick plums according to quality standards and specific instructions.
- Sort and pack picked fruit into appropriate containers.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the orchard.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Report any issues with fruit quality or equipment to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
