Join Wayfair as a Pro Furniture Assembly – Multi-Brand Specialist in Kahului, HI. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to provide expert assembly services for a wide range of furniture products from various manufacturers. This role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive perfectly assembled furniture and an exceptional post-purchase experience. You will be responsible for precise, efficient, and damage-free assembly, upholding Wayfair’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble a diverse array of furniture items, including but not limited to beds, dressers, tables, chairs, cabinets, and outdoor furniture, from multiple brands and manufacturers.
• Follow complex assembly instructions and diagrams accurately, ensuring structural integrity and proper functionality of all assembled pieces.
• Perform quality checks on all assembled furniture to guarantee stability, alignment, and absence of defects.
• Safely use a variety of hand and power tools, maintaining them in excellent working condition.
• Manage time effectively to complete assemblies within designated timeframes and schedules.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the assembly process.
• Handle furniture and customer property with the utmost care to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after assembly.
• Accurately document completed jobs and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly challenges or missing parts efficiently.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of professional furniture assembly experience across various brands and product types.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex assembly instructions and diagrams.
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools specific to furniture assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, structurally sound assemblies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different assembly challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy and bulky furniture items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in Kahului and surrounding areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles.
