Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy visiting various businesses? NielsenIQ is seeking enthusiastic and discerning individuals to join our team as Professional Mystery Shoppers. In this flexible, part-time role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating customer service, product availability, and store environments across a variety of businesses in Glendale and surrounding suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for supplemental income with a schedule that adapts to their lifestyle. You will conduct anonymous visits, observe specific criteria, and provide objective feedback that helps our clients improve their operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct anonymous visits to assigned retail stores, restaurants, or service providers within specified timeframes.
- Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including staff demeanor, product placement, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
- Interact with staff in a natural and inconspicuous manner, following provided scenarios or guidelines.
- Accurately record observations and complete detailed reports using our online portal, often within 24-48 hours of the visit.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client identities, assignment details, and all collected data.
- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions for each assignment to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Manage your own schedule effectively to complete assignments on time.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting
- Reliability and punctuality in completing assignments
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously
- Access to reliable transportation and a smartphone/computer for reporting
- High level of integrity and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mystery shopping or field research
