Job Description
Join DHL Express as a Quick Service Runner in our fast-paced London logistics hub. This dynamic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in high-energy environments and are committed to ensuring the swift and accurate movement of packages. You will be an integral part of our operations team, supporting the seamless flow of goods, assisting with sorting, loading, and preparing shipments for delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and organize packages, ensuring they are directed to the correct loading bays or processing areas.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of all shipments.
- Prepare packages for dispatch, including labeling, scanning, and documenting details as required.
- Support couriers and operations staff with various tasks to maintain a smooth and rapid workflow.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
