Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our front desk team for morning shifts. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression for all guests and visitors, ensuring smooth operations, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, available to work from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order front office supplies and keep a tidy and presentable reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and filing.
  • Handle guest inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or front office role.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification.
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
