Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Google Workspace Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring our global workforce can effectively utilize Google Workspace applications. You will be the primary point of contact for technical issues, providing exceptional support and training to end-users across various departments. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, while enjoying comprehensive benefits including full medical coverage and a 401k plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support for all Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Google Workspace functionality, access, synchronization, and integrations.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets effectively using our internal ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for new and existing users on Google Workspace best practices and new features.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, common issues, and resolutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and user experience enhancements within the Google Workspace environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical customer service.
  • Proven proficiency in administering and supporting Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
  • Strong understanding of user management, security settings, and data governance within Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Workspace Administrator certification or similar industry certifications.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and cloud-based authentication methods.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
