Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Payroll Assistant to join our administrative team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our operations from the comfort of your living room, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and providing essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, possess strong ethical standards, and be capable of managing sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for a designated group of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Verify and input employee data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefits deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute pay stubs and year-end tax forms.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and administrative procedures.
  • Maintain organized and confidential payroll records and documentation.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, report generation, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
