Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote QA Associate to join our dynamic and distributed team. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases and test scripts on new and existing software products.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, providing updates on testing progress.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Contribute to process improvements for the QA department.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned QA tasks and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to clearly document bugs and steps to reproduce them.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with any bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

  • Experience with test automation concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
