Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Residential Concierge to join our team at one of Manchester’s most exclusive luxury residential developments. This is a pivotal front desk role, offering a high salary for an individual who is dedicated to providing an outstanding level of service and creating a welcoming, secure, and impeccably managed environment for our discerning residents. You will be the first point of contact, embodying the building’s commitment to luxury and resident satisfaction. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to all residents and visitors.
- Manage the main reception desk, including answering phones, directing calls, and handling general inquiries.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery and collection of packages, mail, and other deliveries.
- Assist residents with various requests, including booking taxis, making restaurant reservations, and providing local information.
- Monitor CCTV systems and manage access control for residents and approved guests, ensuring building security.
- Liaise with building management, maintenance, and external contractors to resolve resident issues promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area and communal spaces.
- Handle resident complaints and escalations with professionalism and discretion.
- Provide handover reports at the end of each shift, ensuring continuity of service.
- Be proactive in anticipating resident needs and offering assistance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within luxury hospitality, property management, or high-end retail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email).
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a residential concierge or front desk agent in a luxury setting.
- Knowledge of local Manchester amenities, restaurants, and services.
- First Aid certification.
- Fluency in additional languages.
