Job Description
As a Retail Finance Clerk at PNC Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily financial operations of our retail branch. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to handle various administrative and financial tasks. You will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with customer inquiries, all while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position, offering a consistent schedule and a professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist customers with basic inquiries, directing them to appropriate banking services as needed.
- Verify and process incoming and outgoing mail related to financial documents.
- Prepare daily cash logs and balance statements.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations and excellent customer service.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the branch management.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a banking, retail, or administrative clerical role.
