Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Robotic Sensor Data Labeler to join our remote team. In this technical IT task role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our autonomous systems and AI capabilities by accurately annotating and labeling vast datasets generated by robotic sensors. This 100% remote position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to follow complex guidelines to ensure the highest quality data for machine learning model training. You will work with various types of sensor data, including imagery, video, LiDAR point clouds, and radar signals, contributing directly to the development of next-generation robotic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately annotate and label diverse robotic sensor data, including images, video sequences, 3D point clouds (LiDAR), and radar data, according to precise project guidelines.
- Categorize and segment objects, environments, and events within datasets to train and validate machine learning algorithms for robotic perception.
- Identify and document anomalies, inconsistencies, or edge cases within the data, providing feedback to improve labeling tools and guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in labeling to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and project managers to understand evolving annotation requirements and project goals.
- Manage and prioritize labeling tasks to meet project deadlines and contribute to overall team productivity.
- Utilize proprietary and third-party data annotation software efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry tasks; comfortable learning new software quickly.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex annotation guidelines consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Basic understanding of data integrity and quality control principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with data annotation, labeling, or quality assurance roles.

- Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts or computer vision applications.
- Associate's degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
