Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shopify Logistics Coordinator to join our growing e-commerce operations in Edmonton, Alberta. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process for our online orders, with a strong focus on Shopify platform management, ShipStation integration, and efficient warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely order fulfillment, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize shipping workflows to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily order fulfillment processes within Shopify, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize ShipStation for efficient shipping label generation, tracking, and carrier management.
- Oversee inventory levels within the warehouse and across systems, conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Monitor shipping performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
- Handle customer service inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and delivery issues.
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping carriers and negotiate service terms when applicable.
- Generate reports on logistics performance, inventory accuracy, and shipping costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Shopify platform administration and order management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ShipStation for shipping and logistics.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations and inventory control principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Canadian shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for process improvement.
