Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Solar Panel Warehouse Aide to join our growing team in the Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. This entry-level position is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and organization of solar panels, batteries, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, committed to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other solar equipment.
- Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain organized inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and staging equipment for installation teams.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining facility standards.
- Assist with periodic audits of inventory and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physical tasks.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
