Job Description
Join the dynamic team at XPO Logistics as a South East Picker Packer, playing a crucial role in our high-volume logistics operation in King’s Lynn. You will be responsible for meticulously picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their goods on time and in perfect condition. We operate in a modern warehouse facility, utilizing advanced systems to streamline our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order sheets and quality standards.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and orders.
- Inspect products for defects or damages and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure all packed items are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving packages.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and instructions.
