Job Description

Are you ready to kickstart your career in logistics from the comfort of your home? DHL Supply Chain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Controller Trainee to join our remote team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with a passion for organization and a desire to learn the intricacies of inventory management within a global supply chain. You will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in managing stock levels, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our logistics operations entirely remotely. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured training program to understand inventory management systems and processes.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies through data analysis.
  • Perform data entry for all incoming and outgoing stock movements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the generation of regular inventory reports and contribute to forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with remote warehouse and logistics teams to reconcile stock counts and resolve issues.
  • Learn and adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the stock control function.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software and procedures.

  • A keen interest in logistics and supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
  • Comfortable with virtual collaboration tools and remote team environments.
