Job Description
Are you a student looking for a flexible way to earn money while staying active? DoorDash is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Delivery Cyclists to join our growing team in Carmel, Indiana! Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food and other items from various local restaurants and businesses.
- Deliver orders promptly and efficiently to customers' doorsteps within the designated delivery zone.
- Navigate city streets safely and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with restaurant staff and customers.
- Manage your own schedule using the Dasher app to accept orders during peak times or when it suits you.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Reliable bicycle and helmet.
- Smartphone with data plan.
- Ability to use navigation apps and follow directions accurately.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Legal authorization to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Carmel, Indiana area.
- Previous experience in customer service or similar roles is a plus but not required.
