Job Description
We are looking for motivated and energetic Student Order Packers to join our online fulfillment team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This part-time role is perfect for students seeking flexible hours and valuable work experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, upholding Amazon’s commitment to speed and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders.
- Efficiently pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product safety.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and sort them for dispatch.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Currently enrolled as a student (high school, college, or vocational).
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills.
