Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for data storage products and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and quality assurance engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and robust code.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues across various platforms and environments.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to release.
- Research and integrate new technologies to enhance product performance and features.
- Document technical designs, specifications, and procedures clearly and concisely.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with software development on Linux/Unix-like operating systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded systems development.
- Knowledge of storage technologies (e.g., SSDs, HDDs, RAID, NVMe).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of network protocols and distributed systems.
- Previous experience working on large-scale software projects.
