Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trend & Keyword Analyst for a remote contract gig. This role is crucial in identifying emerging market trends, optimizing keyword strategies, and delivering actionable insights to support our market research initiatives. You will work autonomously to uncover valuable data that drives strategic decisions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value search terms and content gaps.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes using various data sources and tools.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations on key findings, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate trend and keyword insights into broader research projects.
- Stay current with the latest SEO, market research, and data analysis methodologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry-specific terminology and audience segments.
- Assist in the development of new research methodologies and data collection strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in market research or data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong command of Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with sentiment analysis or natural language processing (NLP).
- Familiarity with social listening tools and techniques.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment.
