Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Hospital Lift Attendant & Porter. This entry-level role involves routine tasks essential to the smooth operation of our hospital, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients, visitors, and equipment within the facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate hospital lifts to transport patients, visitors, staff, and medical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist patients with mobility challenges in and out of lifts, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Transport medical records, laboratory samples, mail, and other supplies between departments as required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy lift environment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Provide basic directional assistance and information to visitors and patients.
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, doctors, and other hospital personnel.

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and politely with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
  • A compassionate and patient-friendly demeanor.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or care-giving role.
