Job Description
Join Tyson Foods as a Production Warehouse Worker, providing essential manufacturing support at our Pasco facility. In this role, you will be a critical part of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, finished products, and supplies within our warehouse and production areas. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading global food producer.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks, pallets, and production lines using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, if certified).
- Transport materials and finished goods to designated storage areas or production stations.
- Sort, stack, and organize products in the warehouse according to company procedures.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with maintaining accurate stock records.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, food safety standards (HACCP, GMP), and company policies.
- Assist production teams with material handling and other support tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production setting.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
