Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Online Wellness Coordinator to join our dynamic virtual support team. In this remote role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking wellness resources, guidance, and support through our online platforms. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while making a meaningful impact on people’s health journeys. You will connect users with appropriate wellness programs, resources, and virtual health professionals, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and knowledgeable virtual support to individuals accessing wellness services.
  • Guide users through our online platforms, helping them navigate resources and programs.
  • Assess user needs and effectively connect them with suitable wellness professionals or services, such as mental health support, nutritional guidance, or physical activity programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow-ups in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance user experience and service delivery.
  • Educate users on the benefits and features of various TELUS Health wellness initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our virtual support protocols and resource library.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy guidelines in all client interactions.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong empathy and active listening abilities.
  • Proficiency with virtual communication tools and online platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Basic understanding of general wellness principles and resources.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in health sciences, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a client-facing support role, particularly in a virtual or healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and healthcare information systems.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset.
