Job Description

As a Search Quality Analyst at UPS with a focus on Google and Bing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of search results related to UPS services and brand presence. This 100% remote position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, and the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in search performance. You will contribute to our digital strategy by analyzing search engine results pages (SERPs), competitor performance, and user intent, providing actionable insights to improve our online visibility and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Google and Bing search results for UPS-related keywords and queries.
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of web pages, advertisements, and other content appearing in SERPs.
  • Identify and report on discrepancies, inaccuracies, or suboptimal rankings.
  • Monitor competitor search presence and analyze their strategies.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to SEO, content, and marketing teams based on search quality findings.
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and track their impact.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in search engine optimization (SEO) or search quality analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Google and Bing search algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with international search markets.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
