Job Description
We are actively seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as UPS Taggers in Murrieta, CA. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our package sorting and delivery operations. As a Tagger, you will be responsible for quickly and correctly identifying, scanning, and labeling packages, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate destinations. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify and categorize packages based on destination, service level, and other specific criteria.
- Apply appropriate labels and tags to packages, ensuring correct placement and readability.
- Utilize handheld scanners to record package information and update tracking systems.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient package flow and meet daily operational goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand package labels and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Capable of lifting and moving packages weighing up to 70 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment or inventory systems.
