Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Fulfillment Hands to join our fast-paced operations in York, North Yorkshire. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Efficiently pack items, preparing them for shipment according to Amazon standards.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, safely moving materials within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics setting.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
