Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Part-Time Warehouse Team Member in Tempe, AZ. This role offers a flexible roster, allowing you to balance work with your personal life. You will be an integral part of our fulfillment center operations, ensuring packages are processed efficiently and safely to meet customer delivery promises. This is an active role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products safely and accurately within the warehouse system.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Pack and ship customer orders, preparing them for delivery.
- Operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Basic computer navigation skills (for scanning and data entry).
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or order pickers.
