Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Janitorial Support to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our Katy store. This part-time role focuses on routine cleaning tasks essential for upholding our high standards of hygiene and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Wipe down counters, shelves, and fixtures.
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to H-E-B's standards for cleanliness and customer service.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Must be available to work weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services is a plus.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and their proper use.
