Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our team as Weekend Marquee Riggers. This part-time role involves working outdoors, often in various weather conditions, to set up and dismantle event marquees and other temporary structures. It’s a high-energy position that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active, and contributing to the success of diverse events, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, unload, and stage marquee components and related equipment at various event sites.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to erect and dismantle marquees, tents, and other temporary structures according
  • Ensure all rigging and anchoring are secure and meet safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment after use.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
  • Interact professionally with clients and other event staff on site.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools as required for installation and removal.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols.
  • Weekend availability is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction, landscaping, event setup, or a similar physically demanding role.
  • Experience operating basic power tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
