Job Description
Join Casey’s General Stores as a Weekend Pizza Cook! This part-time role focuses on preparing high-quality takeaway pizzas for our customers. We offer comprehensive training, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn kitchen skills and contribute to a fast-paced food service environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of pizza preparation, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction during weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas according to Casey's recipes and quality standards, including dough preparation, topping application, and baking.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, sanitary, and organized at all times.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and slicers safely.
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling transactions during busy periods.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Cedar Rapids location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles.
- Customer service experience.
