Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WFH Apple DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on automation and cloud technologies to join our innovative team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure specifically tailored for the Apple ecosystem. You will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms and automation tools to streamline development workflows, enhance system reliability, and drive continuous improvement across our Apple-centric projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines for Apple-focused applications and services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using cloud-native tools and scripting languages.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring cost-efficiency and performance for Apple workloads.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
- Stay current with emerging Apple technologies, cloud trends, and DevOps methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance regulations across all environments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Apple technologies (macOS, iOS development environments).
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with Swift/Objective-C build systems and tooling.
- Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Familiarity with Xcode Server or other Apple-specific CI/CD integrations.
- Previous experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
