Job Description

Cigna is seeking a WFH Joy Facilitator to cultivate a vibrant, supportive, and engaging remote work culture for our employees. This 100% remote role is pivotal in ensuring our distributed workforce feels connected, valued, and empowered to thrive both personally and professionally. You will design and implement initiatives that enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being, build community, and infuse moments of joy into the daily lives of our remote team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute engaging virtual activities and events designed to boost morale and foster connection among remote employees.
  • Identify, curate, and disseminate resources related to mental health, stress management, work-life balance, and general well-being.
  • Act as a central point of contact for employee feedback regarding remote work experience and well-being initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and D&I teams to ensure wellness programs are inclusive and accessible to all remote employees.
  • Create and manage internal communication campaigns to promote wellness events and resources effectively.
  • Organize virtual workshops, guest speaker sessions, and interactive challenges focused on health, happiness, and personal development.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of joy and wellness initiatives, using feedback to continuously improve programs.
  • Champion a culture of positivity, empathy, and mutual support across the remote workforce.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse individuals virtually.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack).
  • A genuine passion for employee well-being, mental health awareness, and fostering positive work environments.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in designing engaging virtual experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in HR, employee engagement, event planning, or corporate wellness programs.
  • Familiarity with various wellness methodologies or mindfulness practices.
  • Certifications in coaching, wellness, or mental health first aid are a plus.
  • Experience in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.
