Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote Audio Processor to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality and consistency of audio content for our platform. This involves a range of tasks from noise reduction and mastering to ensuring optimal playback across various devices and network conditions. You will collaborate closely with content creators, engineers, and product teams to deliver an exceptional audio experience to our global audience. Key Responsibilities
- Perform audio clean-up, noise reduction, and restoration on various audio content types.
- Apply equalization, compression, and other audio processing techniques to achieve desired sonic characteristics.
- Ensure all audio content meets Spotify's technical specifications and quality standards for playback.
- Collaborate with content teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality audio.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving audio production workflows and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in audio processing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Adobe Audition.
- Strong understanding of audio signal processing, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.
- Experience with various audio plugins and mastering tools.
- Excellent critical listening skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field.
- Experience working with large-scale audio content libraries.
- Familiarity with various audio codecs and delivery formats.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating audio tasks.
- Prior experience in the streaming or media industry.
