Merry Maids Norwich is seeking enthusiastic End of Tenancy Cleaners to join our dedicated team. As an End of Tenancy Cleaner, you will be crucial in preparing properties for their next occupants. This demanding but highly satisfying role involves performing thorough deep cleans of residential properties following tenant departures. You will be responsible for ensuring that every corner of the property is spotless, adhering to strict checklists and high-quality standards. This role requires significant physical stamina, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive deep cleaning of kitchens, including appliances, cupboards, and surfaces.
- Sanitise and clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, baths, and tiles.
- Vacuum, mop, and polish all flooring types.
- Clean internal windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Dust and wipe down all reachable surfaces, skirting boards, and light fixtures.
- Remove rubbish and prepare the property for final inspection.
- Operate professional cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to company cleaning protocols and health & safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet strict deadlines for property handovers.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- High level of physical stamina and energy; comfortable with repetitive tasks and lifting.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a cleaning team.
- Basic understanding of different cleaning products and their appropriate use.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in professional cleaning, particularly end of tenancy or deep cleaning.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and health & safety standards in cleaning.
