Job Description
Join Foundever as a Remote Captioning Specialist, providing essential media support for Netflix content. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and synchronizing captions and subtitles for a wide array of shows, movies, and other media. Your keen eye for detail and exceptional linguistic skills will ensure high-quality accessibility for viewers worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content accurately into text for captions and subtitles.
- Synchronize captions with on-screen action and spoken dialogue, ensuring precise timing.
- Review and edit existing captions for grammatical errors, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency.
- Adhere to client-specific style guides and technical specifications for captioning.
- Perform quality control checks on completed captioning projects.
- Manage multiple captioning assignments efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure high standards of delivery.
- Stay updated on captioning best practices and accessibility standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with various media formats and playback tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
