Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the movement of goods, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation, according to company standards.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of orders.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
