Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Sorters to join our fast-paced Nampa fulfillment center. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately sorting packages, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized work environment. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency. No phone calls are necessary for application; we value candidates who can hit the ground running in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages, parcels, and items according to designated routes and categories.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and conveyor belts manually or using equipment.
- Scan package labels accurately to ensure correct tracking and delivery information.
- Identify and report any damaged items or discrepancies in shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks safely (training provided).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Experience using scanning devices or inventory management systems.
