Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Social Media Strategist (Scribe) with a strong performance focus to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns designed to enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and drive measurable outcomes for various AdventHealth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional content creation skills, a deep understanding of social media analytics, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable strategies. You will work closely with content creators, marketing managers, and clinical teams to ensure our social media presence reflects our mission and values while achieving key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organizational goals and performance metrics.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of social media campaigns, from ideation and content creation to execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Act as a 'scribe' for our brand voice, ensuring all social media content is consistent, compelling, and reflects AdventHealth's values.
  • Conduct in-depth social media analytics, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and inform future strategies.
  • Monitor social trends, platform updates, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, ensure accuracy, and promote key services, events, and health information.
  • Manage social media calendars, scheduling, and publishing across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive brand interactions.
  • Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, and A/B testing.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key successes, learnings, and recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in social media strategy and performance marketing.
  • Expertise in major social media platforms and their respective analytics tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft engaging copy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the healthcare industry or a regulated environment.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, or other relevant social media certifications.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for basic content creation.
  • Experience in crisis communication management on social media.
