Job Description
Are you passionate about music and love working with young children? Kiddie Academy of Hoboken is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Preschool Music Instructor to join our vibrant team. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for individuals with no prior professional experience in music instruction, but who possess a strong desire to inspire young minds through the joy of music. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons to children aged 2-5, fostering their musical development, creativity, and self-expression. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate music lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
- Lead engaging music activities including singing, rhythmic exercises, movement, and instrument exploration.
- Introduce children to basic musical concepts such as tempo, pitch, and rhythm in a fun and interactive way.
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes participation and confidence.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure the safety of all children during music sessions.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to integrate music into broader curriculum themes.
- Prepare and organize music materials and instruments for each class.
- Communicate children's progress and musical interests to parents and guardians as needed.
