Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart a rewarding career in logistics and supply chain? Amazon is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Equipment Operator for our Pasco, WA fulfillment center. This role offers comprehensive multi-machine training, empowering you to safely and efficiently operate various warehouse machinery, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and more. You will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the smooth movement of products from receiving to shipment, maintaining Amazon’s high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and order pickers, following extensive training.
- Load, unload, pick, put away, and move products and materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Perform routine pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and tracking items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
- Cross-train in various departments to support overall warehouse efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to learn and operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 49 lbs), and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numerical skills.
- Commitment to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Effective communication skills.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
