Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Pinterest Listing Assistant to join our dynamic e-commerce team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to manage your schedule while contributing to the visual merchandising and online presence of our extensive product catalog on Pinterest. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining product listings, ensuring they are attractive, accurate, and discoverable to millions of potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, and a passion for home goods and visual storytelling. This role is crucial in driving traffic and engagement from Pinterest directly to our product pages, requiring a blend of creativity and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling and accurate product listings on Pinterest, including high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and relevant keywords.
- Optimize existing Pinterest listings for search engine visibility and user engagement, applying best practices for SEO and visual merchandising.
- Categorize products correctly and ensure all product information is consistent across platforms.
- Monitor Pinterest trends and analytics to identify opportunities for improved content and listing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency and promotional alignment.
- Perform regular audits of Pinterest listings to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest's platform updates, tools, and best practices.
- Assist with other e-commerce support tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of our online presence.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using Pinterest for business, including creating Rich Pins and managing boards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and content creation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging product descriptions.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce principles and online retail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with visual content creation and curation tools (e.g., Canva, basic photo editing software).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an e-commerce, retail, or online merchandising role.
- Experience with product information management (PIM) systems or e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of SEO principles specifically for Pinterest and other visual search engines.
