Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our dedicated team as Clinical Support Porters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital, providing essential support to clinical staff and comfort to patients. Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and clinic areas via wheelchair, trolley, or bed.
- Moving equipment, medical records, specimens, and supplies efficiently and securely throughout the hospital.
- Assisting with the safe and respectful transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary.
- Responding to emergency calls and assisting clinical staff as directed.
- Ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance of all transport equipment.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and patient confidentiality.
- Providing a friendly and supportive presence for patients and visitors.
- Communicating effectively with clinical staff, patients, and colleagues.
