Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle (up to 10,000 lbs) for package pickup and delivery within a designated route.
- Load and unload packages accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with recipients and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including scanning packages and obtaining signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Manage time effectively to complete routes within scheduled timeframes.
- Work independently while following established procedures and guidelines.
- Handle physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages of varying sizes and weights.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years.
- Ability to lift, push, and slide packages that may weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role.
- Familiarity with the Lakewood, Colorado area and local routes.
- Experience operating a commercial vehicle.
