Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salt Room Attendant to join our modern wellness team at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring a serene, clean, and welcoming environment within our salt therapy room. You will guide guests through their salt therapy experience, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and contribute to an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. This position offers a monthly bonus opportunity based on performance and guest satisfaction, recognizing your vital contribution to our guests’ well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a comprehensive introduction to salt therapy, explaining its benefits and usage protocols.
  • Prepare the salt room for each guest, ensuring optimal conditions including salt distribution, temperature, and ambiance.
  • Monitor the salt room during sessions to ensure guest comfort and address any immediate needs.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards of the salt room and surrounding areas, including regular cleaning of salt particles, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Manage scheduling and booking for salt room sessions, ensuring efficient flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Educate guests on additional wellness services and products offered by the spa.
  • Restock supplies and report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Process payments and handle transactions accurately when necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive and harmonious team environment.

  • Knowledge of salt therapy (halotherapy) benefits and practices
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Fluency in multiple languages
