Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dispatch Runner to join our warehouse logistics team in Pasco, WA. This entry-level position is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information within our fast-paced fulfillment center. As a Dispatch Runner, you will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of important documents, small packages, and equipment between various departments. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our operations, maintaining efficiency, and contributing to a positive work environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Transporting documents, small packages, and essential equipment between different warehouse departments and stations.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule, minimizing delays.
- Maintaining accurate logs of items picked up and delivered.
- Communicating effectively with various teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues.
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed, including organizing and maintaining supplies.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies during transit and within the warehouse environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely after proper training.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 49 lbs), and carry items for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and tracking (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (even non-professional, e.g., school/volunteer).
- Familiarity with inventory systems or basic data entry.
